I promise I wish I were near you. I am in North Carolina so there is no way I can take them. If you say they are two weeks old they are still on milk. Watch very carefully to see if the mom cat comes around looking for them and get in touch with animal control so they can set a trap for her and you can get the kittens. HOPEFULLY someone in your area can take at least the kittens and bottle feed them. I promise if I were that I would in a heart beat! Also unfortunately I do not know any one who lives in your area to have help you. Do you have a crate? If so place the kittens in there until mom shows up. Be sure to have the trap set up already. You do not want her to move the kittens because they will be quite difficult to find and will grow up to be wild. In turn cause more problems with overpopulation.

Why don't people keep their cats inside and or spay and neuter??? It is so beyond me.

Lots of luck to you and I really hope you can get the help you need. Oh...Contact your local Humane Society to see if they can help you. In my county they place animals in foster homes until they are ready to be adopted and the kittens would go to a home where there would be an expert on hand raising kittens.

Reply:try posting them on craigslist. criagslist.org then click on the link for your area. tell the situation and when someone emails you, you can tell them where to pick them up.

good luck, and thanks for caring about the animals!!!
Reply:Have you got any friends who would love a kitten?
Reply:You are just like me. You can't help but to love and worry about babies! I would put an add in the paper, call your vet. I would ask my landlord if you could take them in until you found them a home.
Reply:Go to www.petfinder.com and click on "shelters and rescues" and start calling the ones in your area that may take them. Find a no-kill shelter and take them there. If they are old enough to be running around, they will lend you a kitten trap and show you how to use it. They will foster the kittens and handle them and then spay, neuter and vaccinate them before adoption when they are old enough. The sooner this is done, the better. They are in danger and the sooner they are handled by humans, the better they will be as pets. If they get past 8-12 weeks old without handling they will become feral (wild) and difficult to adopt. They may also start breeding and you will end up with a lot more kittens.

By the way, craigslist does not list animals anymore.
Reply:call arond and see if there is a no-kill animal shelter in your area. Even if there is not...some pounds will take the cats and let you know if they have not been adopted so that you can pick them up and try to place them yourself. Try putting up flyers in your local pet hospital or pet store.
Reply:Call local Vets and let them know the situation and see if any of them will take them in.
Reply:To solve the neighbor problem you can call the spca and tell them that your neighbor is threatening to kill the kittens. They will come knocking at his door and tell him to either straighten up or they will slap a big fine on his door.
