Do the Messiahs hide out from atheists?

When we couldn't even explain where the Sun came from properly, there were miracle-making-messiahs and holy prophets jumping out of talking bushes, burning bushes, talking burning bushes and garden sheds; but the moment that science and atheism suddenly become popular, the time you'd expect messiahs, miracles and divine intervention to be most important, suddenly they've all gone on vacation. Whyyyyyyyyy?

Do the Messiahs hide out from atheists?
The only true Messiah is Jesus. He doesn't hide.

Reply:How exactly do you know these stories are true? Before, things couldn't be explained by science. They were viewed as magic or miracles. It's different today. Science still can't explain everything but we're on a roll.
Reply:The Messiah, and there is only one....He is Christ. He made all people, even atheists....Atheists were not made by mistake either, they were born and God hopes that even they will believe....this is why He lingers....so that nobody will be lost.

Reply:That depends on you. It's because you don't care and haven't been looking for God. You're the problem, not the Messiah. The Messiah will come to you when you need Him. However, he dropped His last body in 1969.
Reply:The Messiah is Jesus. But you being an atheist wouldn't believe in him right? So mister atheist, Why would you ask a question like that if Jesus doesn't exist to???And believe me Jesus the Massiah doesn't hid from anyone!!!
Reply:no he didn't hide he was god in human forn he came here to save us from sin and give us the chance of ever lasting life by his dying on the cross for OUR sins if he did any thing he extended his hand s to them and showed the the love of god and converted them into christains

The common answer for this is that even after people saw miracles back then they still sinned so we can learn from this that if you don't want to do whats right it wouldn't matter if u saw a miracle from God with your own eyes.

Plus, God never made miracles for you to believe in him, he made them because they were necessary(I'm Jewish so Jesus doesn't count for me).

You are referring to an earlier period in human development where we needed Messiahs, and by the way Jesus was only one of many at the time. We were as children then but now we have grown up a bit and Tooth Fairy Santa Clause are revealed as fiction.

Reply:They aren't in hiding..people just dismiss the supposed "divine" now a days as nuts...as they should have in the old days but they knew no better.
