What do you think of this?

I was sitting at home last Friday night, when I heard a noise coming from the bottom of my garden. I looked out of the window and I could see 3 men breaking into my garden shed and proceeding to steal my valued possessions. I called the police, told them what was happening and they told me that they were very busy that evening - maybe they could send a patrol car over in a few hours' time?

I put the telephone down and then 5 minutes later, I called them again. This time, I told them that there was no need for them to send anyone over anymore - 'cos I had shot the intruders to my property.

Within 10 minutes there were 3 patrol cars, an armed response unit and they had brought the police dogs. They caught the intruders red-handed and one of the police officers came over to me and asked me: "I thought you said you had shot them?". To which, I replied:

"I thought you told me that you were too busy to come over?"

What do you think of this?
Ok now for a true story from my local free paper. There was a guy who had loads of bother with local kids and dealers being on his garden wall. He contacted plod who told him to put up cctv. He invested in cctv as advised and monitored the situation. Within a few weeks plod arrived on his doorstep and demanded he remove cctv as it was infringing on the rights of the people who were sitting on his wall and because some of them were teenagers they said he could be mistaken for a paedophile!! Priceless!

I once called the police to report a serious domestic disturbance across the road from me (you could hear thumping and screaming) and got put on HOLD for 10 minutes - I should've told them I'd shot the neighbours for bothering me!
Reply:the police dont have a clue at all

a friend of mine was rapped and she rung the police straight after it happened there response was to stop being histerical and come to the station in the morning to report it
Reply:You wont find any this week,,, plenty of overtime,,,at Heathrow,,,,Treble ,,,time,,,,,
Reply:They were originally busy at your mates who had claimed he had shot people breaking into his garden shed.
Reply:Lol!
Reply:Read that one weeks ago Doc - but it's a good way to get the cops out quick!!
Reply:The police can quote the lawbook and arrest you on charges of giving false information unless you come up with a plausible explanation, like 'I meant I shot them with my camera'. Everyone except the Law will say what you did was right in the circumstances. Seems you got away this time.
Reply:very funny made me giggle
Reply:That was very interesting. It happens all the time. They are there when you don't want them and nowhere when you do want them.
Reply:Brilliant love it!! is that true?
