how do i get rid of foxes, there is 8 of them in the garden next
door to me living under my neighbours shed.i would like some
advice please.kind regards.joe.
Fox problems?
This is a easy one. Go to the store and buy 1 or 2 bottles
of household ammonia and pore it into there den. They'll
move out without packing there bags. It also keeps dogs
away from garbage cans as well. When the foxes are
gone, squirrels may move in. To keep them from digging
up your plants pore a little ammonia around them. Not too
close as it can burn the plants. Those that smell it wont
come back.
Reply:To stop them entering your garden use an electric fence ( you can make one for about £10 and some scrap parts)
The link below may help but follow any HV links and there is an electric fence plans somewhere
You could ask the council for help if you consider them a health hazard
Last resort , I am afraid, is shoot them
Poison is too dangerous to other animals - pets / children etc
Reply:a friend of mine worked for pest control. in general conversation she said the only way to get rid of foxes is to pour urine from a larger species around the perimiter of your garden. unfortunatly the larger species is a human! she said that they will detect a more superior animal/person so will be scared to cross ovr.
Reply:why do you need rid of them? do you keep chickens?
Reply:Ahh how lovely,we have a family next to us and we keep them there by feeding them so I guess the wat to get them to move is don't leave food around. The next door neighbour could call the rspca and they might be able to do something, but other than harming them I know no other way
Reply:half fill a big bottle wiv water stick it in the ground

when the wind blows%26gt;%26gt;this creates a whistle noise
%26gt;%26gt; foxes hate the noise
%26gt;put a few in the garden-u shuldnt hear from them!
Reply:I would call animal controll to come out to your house.
Reply:Contact a local wildlife sanctuary. They may be in need of the foxes and trap them for you. I live in southern USA and we recently had the same problem in a community here. They hired a trapper, but he placed the traps so close to the residential properties that domestic animals got hurt. So if you choose that route make neighbors aware that there are traps out and to watch their pets outdoors.
Reply:unfortunately it's very hard to get rid of foxes once they've set up home. I take it your neighbour doesn't have a dog because they would soon see the foxes off the land. You could contact your local council and ask for advice.
