Guinea Pig - Hair Loss?

I have two guinea pigs, and the hairs seem to be falling off one of them.

I have no idea what this could be? Everytime I run my hands though him, it seems some hair is falling out. Particularly towards his back end, where he will lift his back-right leg when my hands goes near there.

There was an incident not too long ago where he ran under the shed in the back garden when I had let them both out to run about. I used the waterhose underneath to try to get him out, and I don't know whether the force of that could have something to do with it?

Guinea Pig - Hair Loss?
Well the guinea pig about his leg it may be sprained or it could be broken! The hair loss thing when you pet him and it comes off it's just shedding! But if the area literally gets bald you have a problem! If the area seems white and crusty your guinea pig may have ring worm!!

Go to this website it is all ways helpful for things like this:

Reply:This sounds like mites. Your best option would be to take him to the vet as soon as possible.

Good luck.
Reply:if it is more then normal shedding amounts (bald patches appearing discomfort) it could be mites or mange take them to a vet if it is mites they will need ivermectin to clear them up
