Last night my cat caught a baby bird and killed its mother..i dont kno wat to do cos the rspb wont rescue it!?
If it is fully feathered, you could place it back outside and hopefully the other parent would continue feeding it. However, since you cannot do that due to your cats...you need to get this bird to a local wildlife rehab. Look here for one near you:

Many of these are individuals and will still be around on weekends.
Reply:Try asking the local Vets if there is a volunteer bird rescuer in your neighbourhood - we have two in my Town who will take in and have a go with any rescued birds. They are very successful with even the youngest of birds, but you may have to deliver it yourself.
Reply:there is nothing you can do,sorry,if you live in uk ,near aylesbury ,st tiggy winkles may help you ,but wild baby birds are hard to rear, you can find the number in yellow pages
Reply:you can get baby bird formula to feed it, it has everything in it that a chick needs, find a pet shop or bird breeder to sell you some, its not expensive
Reply:The bird will need plenty of protein. Insects, grubs and stuff.
I think your cat has probably done for this particular bird family.
Reply:Their great rescue places aint they. Poor little bird try this site, i don't know if it will be any good to you, good luck http://www.starlingtalk.com/babycare.htm
Reply:There are many questions.
Does it have feathers?
What kind of bird is it if you know?
If it is a insect eater which most birds are they need lots of protein in their diet.
Make this recipe:
2 cups soaked dry cat food till soft and moist,
1/4 cup of applesauce,
4 tums tablets ( this provides calcium) ( crushed and diluted with a bit of water)
Avian vitamins ( follow directions on the label)
1 hard boiled egg
MIX all together to resemble cooked oatmeal.
You can freeze in balls and then put in a baggy to keep fresh and take out one ball as needed.
The baby will have to be fed about every hour.
The mother bird is implanted in it's head so it has a chance for release as soon as it is fully feathered and flying.
We raised a 5 day old sparrow and this is what Wildlife told us to feed it. We still have her as can't be released. We love her too much to let her go anyway and plan on adopting another for a cage mate.
I hope this helped you and the baby.
