you need to contact your local council, environmental health section and report them, now!

As Velvet above says, kill them, prevent them, it is the only way.

I live on a farm and they are a constant job, we have to keep on top of them or we would be over run in a couple of weeks.



Where there is a food source they will be there!



And their idea of food is very different to ours! They will eat almost anything, even dead rats!
Reply:Get a Ginny pig. Rats hate the sound of them. Other then setting traps or put poison out I am not sure.
Reply:Do not keep anything edible in your shed. This will include grass seed, bone meal fertilizer, candles, dirty BBQ's etc.

Call the EHO at your local council.
Reply:You will not stop them coming! The only way to deal with them is extermination, then when they are gone:DEAD: ask your neighbour to clear up what ever atracted them in the first place.
Reply:The only real way to solve this is to kill the rats and the sooner the better. See your local farmer store they carry rat poison that really works, follow directions very carefully.

Reply:you could try blocking their access but they are good diggers. Traps are the best solution use a bit of cat meat or peanut butter as bait.
