Easy way to contact husband in shed.?

Have tried one of those electronic bells....doesn't work....shed's too far away. I just want to be able to attract his attention instead of traipsing all the way up the garden. Any ideas?

Easy way to contact husband in shed.?
Ditto walkie talkies.

We bought ours to use on a canal boat - useful to keep in touch when he's steering and I'm off doing locks, but we've found that we use them even more now when we go shopping.

Ever been in a big DIY warehouse - he goes off to look at boys' things while I go to the plants; then you spend the next half hour wandering up and down aisles looking for each other? Not any more - quick press on "call" button, a loving "where the **** are you?" and we are lovingly reunited!
Reply:Leave him alone!!!

when were in the shed garage ect.ect Just let us work on what were working on..

but you did get a lot of cleaver ways to annoy him.
Reply:LEAVE HIM ALONE. When a man is in his shed he does not want to be disturbed.
Reply:For heavens sake leave him in his shed and make the most of the time you have on your own. Otherwise, have you heard of mobile phones? They enable you to contact people where ever they are!
Reply:Text or ring him on a mobile

Turn the light on and off a few times as a signal in a room where the window is visible from the shed (at night)
Reply:we have a wireless intercom from house to garage and its 160 feet away...comes in just fine...its a radio shack fm wireless 3 channel intercom...have a couple upstairs also...
Reply:walkie talkies
Reply:We have a Westinghouse WHI-3S wireless intercom that costs about 30 bucks and is suppose to be good for about 1500 feet. We use it between the house and my shop.

Reply:Do a 'jack and vera'..............baby monitors!
Reply:move in with him
Reply:get a small pile of pebbles and a slingshot. Bang the side of the shed with the pebbles.

in a few days go out and get your exercise by picking up all the pebbles and returning them to the kitchen door.
Reply:If walkie talkies don't work for you and you can't shout loud enough, have you tried lobbing a can of beans at the shed to indicate that you want him?
Reply:I just leave mine down there, peace and quiet...
Reply:if you are having trouble getting him to come in at night then lock him out of the house a few times, then he'll learn to come in and spend more time with you or face spending his nights in the shed.

or carrier pigeons might work!
Reply:Leave him too it, he'll come back when, his beer bottle's empty, he's hungry, he cuts himself and needs you to nurse him, the football's starting on telly, or its time to go down the pub. In the meantime, ENJOY the PEACE
Reply:Isn't that the best place to keep husbands, do you really need him back in the house!!!! Seriously if its on an evening try flashing the house lights on and off.
Reply:crossbow? they have a good range and are very accurate...
Reply:Buy a DECT cordless phone kit for the house, one with 2 or 3 handsets and a base station. Leave one handset in the shed and you can ring him and talk, just like phoning, but FREE! with the 'intercom' facility.
Reply:Before the cell phone age took over...I used an old brass school bell to call my 4 children for dinner....You could here it for a long distance and every neighbor knew what it was for so if the kids didn;'t here it,,,others that did would tell them...5 rings meant all them...4...the olderst etc....It worked and was sort of different but it got attention for sure...
Reply:a loud hailer? or just leave him in peace.
Reply:I'd flash one of those super-bright portable searchlights at the shed. Through a window 1/4 mile away, that would light up the shed and easily get his attention.

Only if he usually isn't looking toward the house - wouldn't want to blind him.

Reply:HI you could always try walkie talkies or get him a mobile phone and then ring him when you want him, you can use them anywhere, just a cheap one will do him
