How old is the map data on Google Earth Pro?

I noticed that this wasnt up-to-date when I zoomed into my garden and saw that it had the old shed which I knocked down a while ago.



Also, If theres a way of updating it to present day please let me know

How old is the map data on Google Earth Pro?
Seems to me Adzi is right,I was looking at an aeriel view of where I used to work,which is now a housing estate,and the place of work was on the photo-It was re-developed at least 5-6 years ago.

Don't know about updates I'm afraid.
Reply:Some of the images on Google Earth are more recent than others. For example, the image of my house is at least 7 years old because it had the old car we got rid of, where as the image of my grandparents house is far more recent (within the past year) as it shows an extension completed.
Reply:I think the last update was about 9 months ago, it varies from region to region depending on the date of the satellite pass
Reply:well they say its up to date, bu i know theres houses missing off it casue i cant find one!
