We have 90 foot rear garden in bungalow. Plus large low walled patio flower beds either side and fish pond sheds, and greenhouse at bottom.
I want to put in a Garden arch about 1/2 way down and stand a washing line pole next to it (ideally to camoflage it) (the pole that is) .
My husband says I cant put one here as it would look silly. I dont like rotary lines, and dont know how else to camoflage the washing line pole.
Its inconvenient to put washing line anywhere else other than going down the length of the garden
Any ideas ? What are your suggestions
I
Location of garden arches?
Well what about getting some wire mess and wrap it around the pole and grow a couple of clematis plants up it? It does work...you can grow them in a pot next to the pole or plant them directly at an angle to the pole because of the concrete.
Reply:Rotary lines are fitted into a tube inside a buried concrete base and are easily removed by pulling out if you find it unsightly at other itmes. Far easier than starting out on a full landscape project!
Reply:no ..put grape vine on ...or vine plant ..looks good
God Bless!!
