I have a large garden accessible from the road, but I don't want to build a brick garage. Can I get a shed-like structure instead? Where and what costs?
Thanks.
It is possible to buy (in the UK) a free-standing garage to put my vintage car in to keep off the rain?
yes you can
i am looking for a workshop at the moment so have trawled the net and know there is such a thing
here are a couple of sites i am looking at
http://www.leisurebuildings.com/products...
this one has offers from time to time that are great
http://www.shedstore.co.uk/itemclas.php/...
and this is a cheap site

good luck
**edit all of these are cheaper than the 1st answer, they have free delivery but i would suggest erecting it yourself, thats where the cost soars, and they come in panels, it really isnt that difficult, and prepare a proper base before it comes and youre away!
Reply:Yes my daughter brought one last year, it is made of concrete panels and is bolted to a base, so it can be moved if she wanted to take it to her next house, she lives in Birmingham, but got the place out of the yellow pages, it cost £2500.
Reply:A neighbour uses on of these http://www.canvas-nylon.co.uk/Portable_G...
If you were to build a wooden garage you would, I think, need to get planning permission.
