Which is the cheapest internet router and the best?

There are so many on the market that I am not sure which to buy,

I need one that will reach at least 100m I need to use my laptop in my shed at the bottom of the garden.

Which is the cheapest internet router and the best?
D-link or net gear will probable be your cheapest, I never had a problem with either but I have had some friends have trouble with em. Linksys is a little more $$, maybe like 10 or 15 bucks more but worth it, I have never had or heard of anyone having trouble with them.
Reply:Go with Linksys! They are from the industry leader Cisco. I've worked for a Wireless internet company and we had many problems with D-link routers. Linksys will be a few dollars more but they are worth it. You can also readily find broader range antenna for Linksys routers at Wal-mart, etc. if the distance is not great enough.
Reply:I work tech support, and we have the best results with the Motorola Surfboard 5120.
Reply:i would say if you need one that runs at least 108Mbps you will pay around $50 or so. go here and go to wireless and then wireless routers http://www.newegg.com/
Reply:Dont go cheap. Linksys is the best. dual antennae and good reception.
Reply:i would prefer linksys. they are good in range and very friendly user.
Reply:I recommend the D-Link DI-524
Reply:D-Link are cheap and good!!
Reply:I use a linksys wireless G router which is pretty good and if you look online there are many mods to increase the output to make it go even up to 1 mile in clear line of sight making it quite versitile. Tho i can't actually suggest modding it if you like the warrenty... it's also cheap, i got mine for sixty bucks.

Reply:100 meters for range is long for good reception may present a problem.
Reply:bt
Reply:linksys are the best, yes they are a bit more expensive but a 300m range and 125mb transmission makes up for it
