Need cat deterant?

i have a rabbit that has free run of the garden, and i keep her hutch in the shed. she gets on ok with the nabours cat and yesterday i saw it sentmarking at the bottom of the garden. when i went to put the rabbit back in to the hutch the shed stank like cat pee and as my rabbit never pees in her hutch the cat must of been spraying in the shed when i wasnt there.

so question 1: any ideas on what i could bo to keep the cat away from the shed but something that wont bother the rabbit. (humane ideas only)

question 2: any easy ways to get rid of the smell.

thanks.

Need cat deterant?
Disinfect the shed and then rinse with water, and then a lemony rinse (this'll get rid of the bacteria and make it smell nice).

Keep the shed door closed when you're not around and that'll keep the cat out.
Reply:Tiger poo. I think you can buy it from Garden Centres. Cat's get very scared. I'm not sure wot effect it will have on the rabbit tho.
Reply:It's foxes you need to worry about.
Reply:the cats markings will keep away foxes and other cats who dont get on with ur rabbit....did u a favour i think
Reply:You could get a dog lol
Reply:as someone else said tiger poo it works my brother in law works at longleat and we had problems with our neighbours 5 cats he got us some fresh poo and the cats dont come in our garden any more

secondly go to a pet store and get some animal friendly disenfectant to get rid of the smell
Reply:get a dog
Reply:Cats don't like citrus so cut up some lemons and put them at the entrance to the shed and put lemon juice on the floor. That should keep it away.
Reply:Cats also hate the *Feel* of tin foil....try burying some just under the patch where they dig!

Either that or pepper!
Reply:Rottwielers usually keep cats away
Reply:A dog, a really big one, we've got a Great Dane.............cats don't like it much!
Reply:go to your local PETS AT HOME STORE and you will find a lot of cat deterrent's there (humane one`s)...

I have two cats they are not a nuisance just the people who dislike them are.....
Reply:Sprinkle some ammonia solution around the perimeter of the garden, cats hate the stuff
Reply:The best thing i know for detering cats away from your garden forever is going to your local zoo asking for some tiger poop which they wont mind giving you and putting it in the area that you dont want the cat. I guarentee you this will work. Give it a try.
