at what temperature will the air inside my garden shed start to turn to moisture and affect the contents therein and is this also dependant on what time of day it is.
A question of humidity?
Moisture starts to condense when the air temperature falls to the dewpoint temperature. When the air temperature equals the dewpoint, the relative humidity is 100%, and any further cooling results in condensation.
So check your local weather report. If the dewpoint temperature is currently 50F, then you can expect condensation to start if the air temperature falls to 50F. In general, condensation occurs most often at night, because that's when the air temperature is usually lowest.
