What is this BUG i saw in my garden??

i want to my shed and saw this strange bug...i think it had six legs...it was mainly black but a tiny red bits on its back legs...which were a bit bigger than the other legs at the front.



the bug had wings like the ones on a flying ant but had a long rod of a tail which was very straight and had a white tip...the tail was about the same length of the rest of its body and when i touched the bug,, it began to hovr like a humming bird......STRANGE I KNOW



by the way this is in north east london if your wondering .....ANYONE KNOW WHAT BUG IT IS??

Parasitic ichneumon wasps lay their eggs inside other insects.
