11 yr old BROTHER got an official reprimand (warning)) off the POLICE?!?
so whats your question concerning Damian
Reply:Confrontations like this are always good for discipline, but what is your questions?
Reply:Talk to your counselor at school if talking to your parents isn't getting anything solved.
Reply:He obviously has emotional issuesw, and should see a professional therapist to determine why he is acting out. It may be a chemical imbalance, or something might have happened to him and he is reating to it.
Reply:got 2 go 2 jail baybe
Reply:It sounds like your brother may have some serious psychological issues that he can't control. I recommend that your parents have him evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist who works especially with children. I wish you and your family the best.
Reply:talk someone
Reply:While young kids go through different stages that are common for what developmental stage they're in (Terrible Two's, for example), your brother's behavior is NOT normal for an 11 year old kid. People can say all they want--ground him, spank him, blah blah blah--but what your brother TRULY needs is a complete psychiatric evaluation and some long-term therapy with a psychologist (or even a psychiatrist, if he needs medication). You didn't mention your mom. Do you come from a broken home? If so, it's fairly common for kids who come from broken homes to "act out" in different ways. Your brother needs counseling though.
Reply:some people can't be straightened out until they get to the 'big house' so to speak. Maybe talk to your Dad and tell him not to get him anymore PSP's, xbox 360's, PS1's and footballs. He needs discipline but you can't do that since you're the sister. That's your Dad's job but you can help your Dad by expressing your feelings to him.
Reply:He is out of control %26amp; if nothing is done now he'l be in jail before long ,he knows he can get away with it by the sound of things.Your parents need to take over the control now ! he needs counciling or boot camp before it's to late. I took my daughter arround his age to the police station after she stole something. The officer there took her back to the jail %26amp; told her this is where she would end up.

My daughter got quite a scare %26amp; she has grown up a great daughter %26amp; now mother herself. Your brother needs a good scare now!!! Your parents should talk to the police about whats going on %26amp; if they can give him a talking too as I did.
Reply:he needs some discipline, a good grounding
Reply:For your own sanity, know that it has nothing to do with you...you do not have control over what he is doing.

I have a nephew who from the age of 8 to 15 set fire to a dumpster at a school, broke a neighbour's windshield by throwing snow/mud balls at it, stole from his mother's purse and stole from stores (got caught at Wal-mart and Costco). He got police reprimands, had to do community service and complete an anger management course. (The first time, it seems like he just learned new ways to be a sh*t disturber). The second time, when he went in front of a judge without a "cheering section"...no one to say "He's really a good boy", the judge ordered a course again and more community service. I believe he really learned the difference of the consequences of his actions that time...he at 16 now is a "peace-maker" in the family...Holy Cow...would have never believed it...for sure thought he was headed for jail. I hope that there is something available for juveniles in your community before it is too late.
Reply:That's not unusual at all in lovely New York City!!
Reply:OK, something serious is going on with your brother, something more then just pre-teen agnst. He needs to see a councillor. He needs to get some rehab. He is acting out on some internal rage that isn't going to get any better until you get him some therapy. Sure, boys are distructive, but this police thing - this taking out his frustration on someone else's property is a clear sign that something very badly wrong is going on in his head.

The good news is, he is at an age where he could very easliy get the help he needs. Find a good therapist - if you don't like the first one, get another.

You don't mention your mother in your e-mail, so I suspect she might be absent, This might be the problem. Boy's don't talk about their problems or emptions, so you might find someone who specalizes in boys and men.

This won't get better. It will only get worse. If he is acting out at this age, he will simply get worse as he gets older and it will be buried deeper and harder for him to deal with.

Go to Yahoo Answers under the Psychology section and ask there if anyone can recommend a therapy or give you any more insight. Truth is, being angry with him isn't the answer. It will just make both of you upset.

Good Luck
Reply:They should put him into jail %26amp; see how its like to be in jail with no one.
Reply:oh man i have a neighbor exaclty like this, he thinks hes cool and above the law, he just bored and doesnt want to do anything with his life because the world has treated him badly
