Proud McCann supporter would like to know...?

What hard evidence have you got that the McCanns killed Madeleine?

What was their motive?

How did they move the body?

Why would they purposely try to keep their profile in the media- would they not be better letting the story fall into media vaults somewhere and their lives not be scrutinised?

Also for those that will give the "child neglectors" argument- most children who are neglected by their parents are sad, scared and feel tortured. I really don't think Sean and Amelie fall into this category! Right or wrong there are times when parents leave their children alone. For example- if Gerry had had Maddy out for the day and he needed to use the bathroom and had left her standing outside alone and nothing had happened to her, would she have been neglected? If he had been caring for the kids in the house and had gone to the garden shed for 5 minutes to get something and somebody had crept in the front door and taken her would it have been neglect. NO!!

Proud McCann supporter would like to know...?
Whatsmyn.. Good question but I am afraid that you will not get a single answer except "they should never leave" etc. There are no real facts in this sad case except the fabricated theories that the anti's have invented.
Reply:What do you mean by 'supporter'?

You're giving yourself away. Have you joined a team?

Now I know why you joined that team: because you've assumed that anyone who doesn't believe in their innocence automatically believes that the McCanns murdered their child, and planned to do it, ('motive').

Is life totally black and white to you?

Either total innocence or total perpetration?

No wonder you don't get any answers to your question.

Who would bother with such a narrow minded perspective on life!

Have you never heard of being responsible for an accident, then, in the heat of the moment, panicking and trying to find a way to cover up that accident, because of the fear you anticipate of the consequences that would follow?

Didn't that ever happen to you as a child , for instance?

Or even in later life....?

Well, that's what surely happened here, and somebody made a split-second fatal decision to cover it up.

The stakes were too high; they risked losing their entire life and careers. Their entire foundation could crumble away as a consequence of this mistake, as would be judged by others.

Everyone involved had to go along with this decision, for ever.

The rest is history.

After the fact, a monumental campaign got launched to corroberate the cover up; an instant, giant media campaign, involving all the prominant contacts that could be gathered up. This was an intimidation tactic, utilized to make any investigation look like a farce. The lie had to be kept up.

After all this, wouldn't it look ridiculous if you went so far in the cover up, and then decided, "Nah, that isn't what happened!...It was an accident"

No, that decision would have to have been made at the onset, and there was no going back on this one.

A terrible decision that has ruined many people's lives forever, and yet has lined the pockets of some others.

I believe that, had they come clean with their mistake in the first place, everyone, including the police, would have seen the humanity of a simple mistake that we are all capable of making, and would have felt a degree of compassion for their plight.....doctors or not. We hope that they will decide to come clean for the sake of their own conscience. There exists a great capacity for forgiveness when the honest truth is told.

As for your 'neglect' argument, this is what Gerry McCann was prepared to take full advantage of in his media campaign in defense of any misdeed on their part: the theory that predators lurk in every corner, in wait, at every opportunity, to steal your child.

Then, you may ask, why didn't he take appropriate precautions to protect his children from this threat, if this was indeed a reality?

Proud supporter, there are no teams to belong to and wave the flag for in this case.

You should be waving the flag for nothing other than common sense and the pursuit of human ethics.
Reply:I must have missed the story about child neglect as related to McCanns.

I also am unaware of the accusation of killing Madeleine.

The statements you make regarding parental care I do agree with.
Reply:SSSHHHHH.....listen.......its all gone quiet
